Since the start in 1962, more than 800 Swedes have received a scholarship for their two-year stay at a UWC school. Thank you for supporting UWC Sverige with your membership and helping us grow!
At the 2024 annual meeting, the annual fee was set at SEK 300 (SEK 200 if you are under 25 or a full-time student).
UWC Swedem’s income goes almost entirely to funding scholarships. Our only sources of income for administrative costs are membership fees and application fees. Since almost all of our work is done on a voluntary basis, we have low administrative costs. Nevertheless, it is of course not possible to reduce the costs to zero.
Income from your membership fee is essential to cover the costs of UWC Sverige. It ensures that we can carry out the selection process, reach out to new potential students, manage the UWC Sverige alumni network and raise vital scholarship funds. Thank you for supporting us in this important work.

Free membership
All current scholarship holders receive free membership while studying at their UWC until one year after graduation. After that, their membership will move to the Full level, which costs SEK 200 per year. To receive our newsletter and other mailings, you can register here.
