The first step in the selection process is submitting an application. This includes:
- Completing an online application form with personal details, academic background, extracurricular activities, and motivations for applying to UWC.
- Providing at least one reference from teachers, mentors, or community leaders. It cannot be a relative or acquaintance. Please note that they should not share what they have written with you.
- Uploading a scanned copy of your final academic certificate from grade 9/MYP4/equivalent.
- Signed permission from the parent or legal guardian.
- Submit the 300 SEK application fee. Instructions for payment can be found on our external site. Everyone should be able to apply to the UWC. Reach out to us at [email protected] to be exempted from the fee.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in a multi-step selection process, which includes:

- Individual Interviews: A panel interview where applicants discuss their motivations, aspirations, and alignment with UWC’s values.
- Project Presentations: Candidates may be asked to present a personal project or initiative they have worked on that reflects their commitment to making a positive impact.
